Intsikurmu Festival programme announced

This August, Intsikurmu Festival will be held fot the 7th time in a row. The ancient forest of Põlva is offering a unique atmosphere for both locals and visitors to enjoy. Now the final programme has been announced, surprising the guests with fresh new talent and interesting must-see acts.

For the first time in Intsikurmu`s history, a South-Korean band will take the stage- an award winning electronic trio Idiotape formed in 2008 in Seoul, influenced by Korean classic rock from the 1960s and ‘70s mixed with electronic vibes. The international headliners this year are a London sensation Superorganism, French rap group Chinese Man, Tel Aviv duo Lola Marsh, Eastern-European rising star Ivan Dorn and a hypnotic dance-music trio MY BABY. From local acts you can see soundcloud rappers Pluuto and Villemdrillem, awarded pop-rock group Miljardid, cosmic and spiritual Mick Pedaja, Talbot for true metal fans and international break-through acts Ewert and The Two Dragons and Kadri Voorand in Duo with Mihkel Mälgand. The biggest local headliner is our world famous Kerli. Formerly signed to Island Records by LA Reid himself, Kerli has taken her music to her own hands and is coming with a fresh new album called „Shadow Works“.

Intsikurmu is so much more than just a music festival. It`s about becoming one with nature for a few days, taking time off and enjoying everything life has to offer. Intsikurmu brings you arts, music, design, food and entertainment. Everyone is welcome from all ages. Lastekurmu will give children a chance to spend quality time with their families and the international, open-minded environment makes everyone feel at home. Intsikurmu is the place where you always leave a bit happier than when you came in.
